For now you can use the coupon code TEST-DRIVE to get 100% off the price of a listing. This is because this site is still in development (beta) and this site needs real listings from real people to make sure everything is working as it should. Also, feedback from the people using the site is encouraged so that we can fix issues and make improvements.

There is no fixed date when the beta phase will end, however, when it does, the option to use the 100% TEST-DRIVE coupon may no longer be available or may be limited (ex: the discount rate may be lower and/or the number of times it can be used per client). There will be no surprise costs when we do switch to paid listings.

Yes, eventually our listings will cost real money; This is because the listings on this site is the product, not the people visiting or the clients themselves. We don’t have third party advertising on this site, we don’t sell our users data, and we don’t do spam. Because of this, we will need money to keep the site operating; paying the bills and paying for legitimate advertising of the site (word of mouth can only go so far). If the site starts getting busy with lots of listings, we need to pay for the expansion of our site. At the time of this posting, we have this site on a modest hosting package (in Canada). If this site explodes in use, we have to scale up fast and that costs money.

Also, this is why the site looks so simple and clean, this site is for finding available dwellings by location – that’s it, that’s all.

At this time there are three ways to pay for a listing (if you don’t use the coupon):

• Square
  • This is the default payment processor.
• Stripe
  • This is an alternative payment processor.
• Email
  • Interact payment via email (Canada only).
• Wallet
  • Money held in your account on this website.

Square/Stripe – are pretty straightforward as it works much like any other payment gateway.

Email – This is a payment method by Interact and is available to people with Canadian bank accounts. Check with your banking institution for more info on this.

Wallet – User accounts on this website have a wallet that can be used to make payment for listings provided there is a positive balance to cover the listing price. You decide when to fund and how much. This will be especially useful when we have a reoccurring (daily) listing option available. Besides Square, Stripe, and Email, it is possible to fund the wallet by check, money order, or cash (if in Thunder Bay, ON area). If you wish to fund your wallet with one of these alternative options, please contact the site administrator.

Note: Email and alternative payment methods are not instant, it takes a human to process and clear the payment before it’s showing in your wallet.

There are no refunds for unused portions of your listing. For example; if you paid $21 for a 4 Week Listing and you rented out, sold, or the property is just no longer available after a couple of days, there is no refund on the remaining days.

New feature in development – For high turnover listings, we are working on a daily reoccurring listing option that will continue as long as you keep your account wallet topped up or you cancel the listing.

We don’t store or have access to your credit card information, the payment processor does. Also, we don’t have any subscriptions that keep pulling money out of your credit card and that are impossible to cancel (you are always in control of your money).
